Bowtie is our new premier silky junior herdsire purchased in August 2019 from Rick & Mary Adams . He is co-owned by Walnut Ridge Llama Farm & Michael & Patricia West.
Bowtie is growing very fast to probably become one of the tallest llamas on our farm. He is already tall in this picture with Mary Adams even though he is less than one year old.
One can look at our recent herdsire purchases and see our affinity for Great Northern Llama Co (GNLC) bloodlines. Bowtie's sire bloodlines come from GNLC Hightower back to GNLC Merlin & GNLC Silver Lining. His granddams follow GNLC Swingtime, MCF Etol, & the Canadian. That is powerhouse genetics.
He is a junior herdsire now, but we can't wait to add him to our breeding stable. He's already chomping at the bit. "Put me in coach."
