Description
WRLF Sandstone’s Ameria is a beautiful, silky brown daughter of Solid Rock’s Sandstone, a National Champion whose pedigree traces to powerhouse bloodlines including GNLC Scorcher, LW Willie K, and LW Marie Antoinette. Sandstone’s influence is evident in Ameria’s elegance, fleece quality, and overall presence. Ameria’s dam, PPR Sphinx, was the largest female we ever owned at Walnut Ridge. She originated from the renowned Pearson Pond Ranch (PPR) breeding program and carried exceptional bloodlines that included MGF Don Diago, Argentine Don Zunca, and PPR Little Egypt—genetics recognized for size, strength, and production. Sphinx was later sold at the Llama Pickin’ Sale for $5,000 as a bred 15-year-old female, a strong testament to her enduring quality and value. Born toward the end of the Covid period, Ameria did not have the opportunity to be shown, as we were not participating in shows at that time. Even so, we are confident she would have been highly competitive in the show ring. Ameria is confirmed bred to PPR Wolfgang for a May 2026 cria, which will be her first. We are very excited about this pairing and look forward to the promise this combination holds.
