Description
Ria is a striking white suri female with a vivid red head and eye-catching red accents along her back and tail—an unmistakable Sandstone daughter with undeniable presence. Her sire, Sandstone, is a National Champion whose pedigree traces to powerhouse lines including GNLC Scorcher, LW Willie K, and LW Marie Antoinette. On the dam side, Ria is out of Criation’s Raja, a female with full Canadian outcross bloodlines who enjoyed a highly successful show career, earning multiple Grand Championships and a coveted Best in Show. Some good llama friends of ours in Georgia, Bill & Susan Johns, talked us into selling Raja to them. Their first show with her ended up in earning her Best in Show. A few years later when Susan dispersed her herd, she allowed Raja to come back to Tennessee. Thanks to Susan, we were able to keep Raja's memory and bloodlines alive in producing Ria and her last little male, Stixx who we gelded and is one of our farm ambassadors today. Born during the height of Covid, Ria never had the opportunity to step into the show ring. Even so, her balance, structure, and confidence make it easy to imagine how competitive she would have been. She carries herself with authority and style—one of those females that quietly commands attention the moment she enters a pasture. Personality-wise, Ria is very much her mother’s daughter: delightfully quirky and intensely people-oriented. She is especially devoted to me and makes her feelings known—when Carolyn or any other human female enters the pasture, Ria promptly positions herself between us, insisting on exclusive affection. It’s equal parts amusing and endearing, and very “Ria.” Ria is confirmed bred to PPR Wolfgang and is due in May 2026 with her first cria. This pairing brings together exceptional structure, elite bloodlines, and proven presence, and we are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a truly exciting cria.
