Description
WRLF Ying Yang: Wow—what can we say about Ying Yang? She truly embodies the idea that sometimes the very best things happen by accident. Ying Yang was the result of an unexpected breeding when her sire, a visiting llama, quite literally jumped the fence and bred her dam, BAL Sweet Temptation. From that surprise union came what has proven to be an exceptional female and a cornerstone of our breeding program. Ying Yang boasts a pedigree that beautifully blends Peruvian and Canadian bloodlines. Her sire, Outta Kruz Kontrol, traces back to the influential Peruvian K-Tu along with distinctive Canadian lines. Her dam, BAL Sweet Temptation, comes straight from the renowned Berry Acres breeding program and carries the coveted genetics of Silver Peru and Rising Star’s Marie Antoinette. Over the years, Ying Yang has more than proven her worth. She is arguably the best producer in the history of Walnut Ridge Farm, consistently delivering correct, high-quality crias when bred to a variety of herdsires. Her 2022 daughter, WRLF Sandstone’s Riveria, was purchased by Becky Cleveland of Tacoma, Washington, for $7,250 and has gone on to enjoy notable success in the show ring on the West Coast. Ying Yang’s current cria, Yancie, is developing beautifully and appears to be growing with the same correctness and promise as her three older sisters. With a production record like hers, Ying Yang continues to leave an indelible mark on our program and remains one of the most influential females we have ever owned.
