Angel's Starina

Description

Angel’s Starina is a striking white suri female with a truly special history. She was born at Hidden Oaks Llama Ranch in Oregon and sold as a yearling to Dick and Kim Murphy. In 2014, Starina produced her first cria, a female. In 2018, our dear friend Ken Dunn acquired Starina, not for breeding, but simply as a companion. For years she was neither bred nor shorn, as Ken lovingly groomed her daily, carefully maintaining her beautiful suri locks in exceptional condition. Following Ken’s passing in 2023, Starina was willed to us from his estate, making her return to an active breeding program especially meaningful. We bred Starina to MSF Fame and Fortune, and she rewarded us with a beautiful suri female cria. Starina’s pedigree is equally impressive. Her sire, Peruvian Firebolt, traces back to the renowned imports Peruvian Keno PC-1, Peruvian Juana PC-1, and Peruvian Maximo PC-1. Her dam, Angelstar, carries powerful genetics from Fivestarr, Whist, and El Fuerte. With these elite bloodlines combined, Starina—and now her cria, Sara—boast an outstanding and far-outlying pedigree, making her a truly special addition to our herd.
