Description
And in this corner weighing in at an impressive 365 lbs and 46" at the withers is the Nationally known and coveted Cornucopia. This full Chilean male out of the great Silverspirit proves that you can have size, single-coat fiber, and class all at one time. This exotic llama is dressed in a mass of silver and taupe tight ringlets that hang to the ground in beautiful flowing dreadlocks. Cornucopia's unique style and loving disposition is irresistible, and his offspring have exhibited all of these desirable traits including soft curly fiber from head to toe! Cornucopia was born at the Kennel's llama farm and was purchased by the Gerkens of Hard Rock Llama Company at the Kennel's dispersal sale. We were fortunate to find him early as the Gerkens made the difficult decision to sell him since they had an abundance of Silverspirit bloodlines in their llama herd. We made a quick weekend trip to Ohio and brought this impressive herdsire back to reside in Tennessee. We would like to thank Mike, Wendy, and Mandy Gerken for giving us the wonderful opportunity to bring Cornucopia to Walnut Ridge. This is one awesome male!! Cornucopia was born November 5, 1998 on the farm of Art Kennel. He was out of the Chilean Import, Silverspirit. These bloodline are very sought after and exhibit unique characteristics including super large bone, large heads, and super silky fiber. Mike Gerkin purchased Cornucopia in 2000 and we purchased him from the Gerkins in 2003. We have kept a couple of daughter lines out of him to continue the Silverspirit bloodlines. Cornucopia now lives in Wisconsin.
